MY STORY

I didn't start out building websites.

I started out running a business and looking for a better way to do things.

Before starting Butcher Web Design, I spent years building and running Hygieia Chemicals, a New Zealand cleaning chemical supply business. Like many business owners, I needed a website that worked properly without becoming another expensive, time-consuming part of running the business.

I became frustrated with the cost and limitations of traditional website platforms. I wanted more flexibility, more control and the ability to build features around the way my business actually operated.

So I started building my own solutions. What began as improving my own website grew into developing online stores, customer portals and practical digital systems.

That's why I started Butcher Web Design: to help other businesses get the same flexibility and control, without paying for things they don't need.
